Privacy Policy

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer. This policy covers this website and the game by Skribbe Studios. The German version Datenschutz is the binding one.
The game
- No account, no server. Your progress is saved on your device only. We do not receive it.
- No ads, no tracking. The game contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs.
- In-app purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive no payment details, only an anonymous confirmation that a purchase is valid. See Google and Apple.
- Crash reports. If you allowed it in your device settings, Google Play or Apple may send us anonymised crash statistics. We use them only to fix bugs.
This website
The site is static. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics. When you open the site, your browser sends technically necessary data to the hosting provider (IP address, time, requested page, browser). The provider processes it to deliver the site, for security and to fend off attacks, under Art. 6 (1) f GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure operation of the site. We do not receive or store access logs ourselves; for retention at Cloudflare see their privacy policy. The hosting provider is Cloudflare Pages, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR, data processing agreement included in the Cloudflare terms) and serves the site from data centres worldwide. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Cloudflare is certified, and additionally on the EU standard contractual clauses. If you write to us, we process your e-mail address and the content to answer you (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR for questions about a purchase or contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) f GDPR, legitimate interest in answering). We delete requests once resolved, at the latest after twelve months; e-mails with tax relevance, such as about purchases, are kept for six years under German tax law (Sec. 147 AO). You are not obliged to provide any data; without a sender address we simply cannot reply. Our mailbox runs on Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland) as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR; the data is stored in data centres in the EU. Where Microsoft accesses data from the USA in individual cases, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Microsoft is certified, and the EU standard contractual clauses apply. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Art. 15 to 20 GDPR). You may object to any processing based on Art. 6 (1) f GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR). An e-mail to support@skribbestudios.com is enough. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the one responsible for us is the Data Protection Commissioner of North Rhine-Westphalia, ldi.nrw.de. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
Children
The game collects no personal data, from anyone. Age ratings follow the stores.
